In the Food as Medicine workshops we focus on how to cultivate a relationship with food that is grounded in simplicity, balance, trust, and a return to joy.
In these workshops you will be given tools and skills to help improve your health and wellbeing by learning how to supply your body with the vitamin-rich, antioxidant-dense, protein-packed, nutrient-hearty foods that make the biggest impact on your health and recovery. You will also learn how to avoid those foods that sabotage your health and contribute to sickness, inflammation, pain and exhaustion. This is especially important when facing a chronic health challenge such as autoimmune illness, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, allergies, digestive problems and pain.
This workshop is ideal for those who want to:
